Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare has announced Archie Drake will join the healthcare system in September as president of Methodist University Hospital.

Drake joins the Memphis-based healthcare system after almost six years with Tenet Healthcare, most recently as chief executive officer of Children’s Hospital of Michigan, a U.S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospital.

Drake joins Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare with more than 35 years of experience in the industry, serving in leadership roles in Texas and Michigan. He started his career as a nurse working as a bedside caregiver for ten years before advancing to leadership roles.
