Diane Ridgway has been named president of Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital, replacing William Kenley who has assumed the role of executive vice president for Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare Community Group.
Ridgway rejoined Methodist in 2011 as chief operating officer and vice president of patient care for Methodist Germantown. Previously she served as chief operating officer of WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia. Prior to that she was senior vice president and chief patient care officer at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare.
Ridgway also served as corporate vice president for operations and assistant administrator at Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital. While at Germantown, she was responsible for designing, developing, and managing four freestanding surgery centers and starting the successful cardiac surgery program at Germantown. She began her career as a perioperative nurse at Methodist University Hospital in 1983.
Ridgway graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor's degree in Nursing and later earned an EMBA from the University of Memphis.
