A pair of nurses at Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett received honors for their performance in July.

Ashley Portis, an RN, received the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. This national award recognizes nurses for the excellent care they provide to patients. According to the hospital Portis "Went above and beyond her duties to give emotional support to a family that had experienced a loss."

Cary Hamilton, also an RN, was named the hospital's Employee of the Month after he was praised by a patient's family for his work.
